Matthew Dale Potter, age 40, of Cunningham, TN passed away tragically in a motorcycle accident on Friday, September 16, 2022. Matt had a huge personality and an even bigger heart. He spent many years racing at Clarksville Speedway and loved being in the shop with his papaw. Matt enjoyed riding his motorcycle and eating, but more than anything spending time with his wife and daughter. He was one of the hardest workers you’d ever meet and would willingly give you the shirt off his back or the last dollar in his pocket. His memory will always be cherished by all that knew him. He worked at Hendrickson for over 15 years, and had just recently completed a motorcycle trip with his “Little Johnny and Blue”, they made 45 states in 10 days! Matthew is preceded in death by his daughter, Abree Dale Potter. Matthew leaves behind his loving wife and best friend, Alana Allbert Potter, and a beautiful, full of personality (like her daddy) 5-year-old daughter, Kirkley Dale Potter; father and mother-in-law, Randy and Vicki Allbert; sisters, Holli (Ty) Shearon, and Brittany Potter; sister in laws, Adrienne (Travis ) Beech and Ashley (Brad) Heflin; nieces and nephew, Addison, Ava Claire and Braden. Matt also leaves behind many friends and loved ones.
